Charles Emelue is a seasoned financial services expert with over 20 years of experience across banking operations, pensions administration, corporate and investment banking, shared services, payments and business transformation within the Stanbic IBTC Group.

 He currently serves as Head, Operations Support, Stanbic IBTC Bank Limited, providing leadership over enterprise-wide operations support, service delivery and operational control functions. Previously, he was Executive Director, Operations at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, where he oversaw pension operations, governance and regulatory engagement.

Charles has held several senior leadership positions, including Head, Corporate and Investment Banking Operations and Head, Operations Shared Services, leading initiatives focused on operational excellence, customer-centric service delivery, process optimization and organisational transformation. He played a key role in the Bank's core banking transformation programmes, including leading the Payments Workstream during the Finacle implementation, which delivered significant improvements across payment platforms and customer experience.

 Charles holds a B.Sc. from the University of Lagos, an MBA from Manchester Business School and a Postgraduate Qualification in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin.
